AMEREIDA is kicking off
2007 with their latest offering: "STREETS", with original compositions
from Jorge & Stephanie, and a rendition of the 1950's icon "Fever".
Stephanie's lyrics reveal her mystical approach to life that
interacting organically with the modern urban electronic palette that is
the signature of Jorge's musical compositions, portraits a parallel
world where the infinite past is embodied into the present . This album
is rich and exhilarating, both in its essence and in its form. It's
World Music, it's Jazz, it's Latin, it's Avant-roots, the label is not
important, it's joyful music for listening, for dancing, for dancing,
for listening....

Bill
Danzig debut album "Love Never Dies" is a collection of inspired and
soulful melodies that, together with the lyrics of his wife Sheila
Danzig, portraits a lifetime story of two people deeply in love. We
produced two albums, one instrumental and one vocal. We love them
both. The vocal album features singers: Stephanie Mair and Omar
Ortiz.
"The richness in the orchestration and what Jorge Guzman was able to
do with my melodies is just unbelievable"...Bill Danzig

We are so happy to be
involved in the recording and production of the first CD of
Mary Rae.
She is an amazing composer and artist. Her compositions
range from neo-classical to contemporary and are infused with
melodies that can be bright and playful, or dark and inward-turning.
Her songs and music will lead you to and imaginary inward world of
beautiful sights that exist, have existed and will always exist.

The CD of great percussionist "RICO"
was finished in March 2005. It was so pleasant to
work with him in the studio! This CD has been
recorded with the intention of helping
humanity through its sale. All the money collected
will be donated to the "Urchins of Brazil" . There
is a special song composed by RICO for this
cause that tells the story of these lonely children
left on the streets in Brazil. We, here at World
Beat Group Studios, feel fortunate to have the
opportunity to share with a person who is so deeply
concerned for the well being of humanity .
On July The Great R&B Singer "TATA
VEGA" came
from Los Angeles, California specially to record a
new version of the song "Urchins of Brazil".
What an amazing voice and soul this woman has! The
Best of our wishes for her success in the music
world. She deserves it!
We would also like to mention that RICO is one of the
few ZEN DRUM players in the USA. We invite you to
check out his website

and also support this cause!

CD
single of the soulful Jazz singer "Desiree
Cox"
was produced during the months of February and March
2005. There is something special in this lady's
voice, lyrics and music. Here at World Beat Studios
we did a great production for her ballads "
Forbidden Love" and in conjunction with DJ Danny Ash
we also produced a house remix of her song. As
Desiree says: "The soul is alive, and music is its
medicine", she is a Bahamian born musician that has
lived in Canada and London and is also known
as the "Renaissance Woman" in these countries. To

Peter Betan's
"PASSION FIX" CD
an album U don't want to miss
The CD is a introspective and seductive musical journey.
Textural imagery surrounded by a myriad of magic passages. A
truly artistic album.
Peter's songwriting is strong both in his lyrics and his
melodies. Jorge's production and arrangements of Peter's music
can be compared to what a creative and sensitive film maker
would do with a great book.
Passion Fix, an album arranged and produced by Jorge Guzman, co
produced by Peter Betan and Stephanie Mair, was mastered by
Michael Fuller at FullerSound on 12/08/04 |

RECORDING &
PRODUCING
INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC
Shakuntala
Photo by Leo Reinfeld / Cre8me.com
during the Video Shooting of the song "Koiee"
Directed by Rui Dias-Aidos
Produced by Jorge Guzman & Stephanie Mair
The beauty of Indian
music deeply touches me.
Artist Shakuntala, with her dear musician friends, came
directly to South Florida from Trinidad to record her first
album here, at World Beat Group Studios. We had the
opportunity of sharing, during the month of July, a wonderful
time with this very unique group of musicians, friends and
family. What a blast! and to complete this venture beside
producing her CD, we also produced a musical video
directed by our friend Rui Dias-Aidos. It was a great working
and learning experience (a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too).
Most definitely, I now know more in depth about the classical
Indian Music, one of the most ancient forms of music. We are
still in the process of mastering both the CD and the video and
as soon as it's done, some clips will be featured here on our
website.

At
World Beat Group
recording Studio we just finished the recording,
production, mixing and mastering of Jamaican songwriter
Cecelia Levy. The sessions were a blast, she is such a
character, very passionate and extremely musical. This girl has a
gift. The complete production of her first album, which contains
songs with powerful and positive messages, came out great. Back in
her beautiful island she e-mailed us her feelings of the final
product ..."I have put it in the car and listen to it whenever I'm
driving and it really flows great".

At
World Beat Group
there has been a whole heap of work going on lately, and we would
like to update you all of what has been going on in the past few
months. We have been working on the albums production of 3 great
artists.
Jamaican songwriter
Cecelia Levy,
with her musicianship and natural ability to combine words and music
into inspiring songs, has been working with us in the studio. It is
a delight to work with her on her beautiful songs, which contain
powerful messages. This productions ,which started during the month
of December, will be posted as soon as it is ready.
At the studio we have been working with
Peter Betan's new upcoming
CD, which is being recorded and produced by Jorge Guzman and
Stephanie Mair. Peter has done concert openings for Internationally
renown artist such as Bob Dylan, Richie Havens, The Yellow Jackets,
and many others.
An ever working World Beat Group is also
producing a collection of songs by the creative composer and
poet Marie Rae.
Her beautiful music is filled with a nostalgic cosmos. Her music
reminiscences that of early 20th century French music from composers
like Eric Satie, Gabriel Faure and Claude Debussy.
World Beat Group is pleased to work with
legendary producer songwriter
Artie Kornfeld,
who is one of the four main producers of
Woodstock69-a
corner stone in rock and pop music. We are working on a project for
singer and composer Jeffrey Luna.
You will be hearing from him soon!

MARCH 2002 |

In between
all our shows we have been working nonstop to get the CD's
that you guys have been waiting for. Yes, it has been crazy,
working day and night, ups and downs, driving through so
many states of being. I must say that to be independent and
challenge ourselves to make two CD's at a time sounds crazy,
but sometimes we need high mountains to clime and if we get
half way, it's a success. Besides doing all these
recordings, we have been designing the CD covers. On both we
have used pictures from photo shootings that, our friend and
also phenomenal
photographer, Leo Reinfield (with cre8me.com) took at a
private session
as well as at
"The Choreographer's Ball."
We will give
you the best of ourselves, and wouldlike to express to all
of you how much we appreciate your support!!
Well, on the
other hand we are very happy to announce the work we are
doing at WordBeatGroup studio with the very talented
musician Peter Betan. We are producing his latest album and
also co writing with him. This has been another exciting
venture besides AMEREDA. Some songs from this joint venture
will be featured on up comings AMEREIDA's CD's.

JULY 2001 |
|
Amereida has spent most of
these long dog days of summer in the studio. Although they have had
other artists come in and record their own work, they have
miraculously have found time in these short 24-houred days to
record. They have been working on the finalization of their
up-coming 4th album ( so fans out there, don't change the station).
In this album, there is the presence of invited artists, Pablo
Malco, Edwin Bonilla, and Daniel Guzman.
Pablo Malco choreographer and rapper of PFuzion, who has
recorded in two of the tracks of the album, adds a delicious
Caribbean scent. Edwin Bonilla, world-renown percussionist, who
recorded in Umbaye" as the head percussionist of the album
contributes with a blood-boiling essence to the recordings with his
ever magic touch. Guitar player Daniel Guzman, member and founder of
"Lunabelle", puts in a magical sound that embraces the music
of the album with a very palatable piquancy. All these condiments
plus many other components make this album a flight through a world
of many savors.
Amereida described their upcoming album as a magical trip
to the essence of many airs of life such as love, passion,
relationships, despair, mysticism, and a pure urge to dance.
